We currently have fixed term (seasonal) and permanent chef roles available, part-time and full-time. Experience is preferred but if you are excited about starting in our industry then we would still like to hear from you! The Jellyfish is an established, busy and vibrant restaurant and bar, located 30 mins from Nelson, on the beautiful Mapua Wharf. We are renowned for our amazing location, within which we pride ourselves on creating memorable guest experiences.

We are currently hiring motivated and energetic chefs to join our kitchen team.

We require the successful candidate to possess the following attributes:

A knowledge of and passion for the restaurant industry.
The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with reporting managers and team members.
To display patience, positivity, optimism, resilience, integrity and initiative.
Dedication to and focus on providing exceptional guests experience by always striving to exceed expectations.
The willingness to respect, manage, maintain and improve the recognised operating systems of the business.
Minimum 1 Years experience as a chef.

Full time position with set roster and a great work/life balance. Start within the next 2-6 weeks.

Training and familiarisation of systems will be provided as part of your onboarding and process.
